Uma Kabusacki grew up inside music. The daughter of Fernando Kabusacki, one of Argentina's most celebrated electric guitarists, she absorbed a world of adventurous sound from childhood, performing on stage with her father from a young age and appearing on his recordings across more than a decade of his acclaimed solo catalog.
Based in Buenos Aires, Uma has developed a distinctive voice as a singer, pianist, and bandleader, bridging the emotional directness of pop and folk with the experimental sensibility of her musical upbringing. She serves as the lead vocalist of Los Instrumentales de Charly, the ensemble that performs Charly Garcia's instrumental catalog alongside Fernando Kabusacki, Matias Mango, and Fernando Samalea. She has performed in Japan, Italy, Switzerland, Seattle, and Mendoza, and appeared at landmark Buenos Aires venues including CCK (Ciudad Cultural Konex, with Electric Gauchos) and Centro Cultural Rojas.
This full-length debut CD was recorded between Seattle and Buenos Aires, beginning with a week in Seattle in February 2025, then Jokerman sessions at Mixo Estudios and Viento Azul with engineer Fernando Taverna, and at Estudio Aves with Nono Di Peco. The Buenos Aires sessions included Ariel Topo Raiman on drums. Recording was completed in Feb 2026 with another week at London Bridge.
